DC Comics kills Harley Quinn – but that’s not exactly what you think it is. DC Comics has released its orders for September 2022, and it includes one for Harley Quinn #22 From writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Matthew Lulli. The story will be launched in a new arc in the future Harley Quinn title, and in this new arc Harley must die… and her murder solved. You don’t get much more than that from Harley Quinn.
According to the official case summary, “Harley gets killed in this…really!” With no serious detective to solve the murder case, it’s up to Harley to do it herself. This may be the most do-it-yourself Harley plot ever – and the character is no stranger to just taking things into her own hands when needed, but it will be interesting to see exactly how this works and how it will relate – if at all – to the current story in Harley Quinn the book. Recently, the character has been dealing with an enemy named “The Verdict” who has gone so far as to frame Harley for the murders they themselves commit. The version will go on sale on September 13th.
